In 2009, I published a little book entitled Osama bin Laden: Dead or Alive?1 Much evidence, I showed, suggested that Osama bin Laden had died on or about December 13, 2001. (Although this book was ignored by the US press, it received major reviews in British newspapers,2 and it even provided the basis for a BBC special.3) Pointing out that the only evidence to the contrary consists of “messages from bin Laden” in the form of audiotapes and videotapes that have appeared since 2001, I devoted one chapter to an examination of the most important of these tapes, showing that none are demonstrably authentic and that some are almost certainly fakes.

A crude car bomb of propane, gasoline and fireworks was discovered in a smoking Nissan Pathfinder in the heart of Times Square on Saturday evening, prompting the evacuation of thousands of tourists and theatergoers on a warm and busy night. Although the device had apparently started to detonate, there was no explosion, and early on Sunday the authorities were still seeking a suspect and motive.

Special Agent Jack Bauer has competition. His name is “H” and he is a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent. He is played by Samuel L. Jackson, not Keifer Sutherland. The film is Unthinkable.

A terrorist — not a Muslim but a white guy, sort of like all those militias you’ve heard about lately — has placed nuclear bombs in three American cities and it is up to “H” to “interrogate” the terrorist and find out where they are hidden.

Wikileaks has recently released a video which shows an Apache gunship killing 2 journalists and injuring 2 children in Iraq, plus bystanders and good samaritans. The video is from 2007, but has only just been released. Already it has became a hit with Internet users everywhere - from mainstream news web sites such as the BBC and NZherald, all the way to Digg.

"Collateral Murder" instantly became a hit on BBC World:

Meanwhile, the video stirred up hundreds of comments on Digg:

New York forensic experts will start a major new search Monday through debris from the World Trade Center for remains of people killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack, officials said.
About 844 cubic yards (645 cubic meters) of material recovered from the reconstruction site at Ground Zero will be combed for bones and other remains of the 2,752 people killed when hijacked airliners slammed into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001.
"That material is going to be sifted to see if there are any human remains," said Jason Post, a spokesman for Mayor Michael Bloomberg. "We're taking every step we can to recover the remains of 9/11 victims."

In addition to the actual placement of explosives, those involved would need to clean up any evidence of explosives remaining at the site. In this final essay of a multi-part series, it will be seen that certain people had the means, opportunity and motive to destroy such evidence at Ground Zero, and that something was being hidden after the buildings fell. These facts will be reviewed in light of the knowledge that the debris was considered highly sensitive and nearly all the steel evidence was quickly destroyed.

Prime Minister John Key will visit the United States next week to take part in the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington. Key said one objective of the summit was to focus attention on the threat of nuclear terrorism, part of a vision from US President Barack Obama for a world free of nuclear weapons. Key said he also hoped to have bilateral meetings with some of the 46 other leaders. -- Christchurch Press, March 30, 2010
